Born & Raised plays all types of events, from corporate, private, holiday, celebrations, weddings, birthdays, and more! We have served events up to eight hours in length, providing hours of live music with supplemental DJ and emcee services.

While Born & Raised provides energetic, multi-instrumental entertainment, we take just as much pride in our professionalism - from initial inquiry to the moment we leave the finished event. In 12 years and hundreds of events we’ve never been late or canceled a booking. We work hard to be the easiest music vendor you’ve ever worked with, and one that you’ll never have to worry about.

How does booking work?

Upon receiving your correspondence via our contact page, we’ll connect to find out the details of your event and quickly provide availability and accurate quote. Once a fee and scope is agreed upon, we’ll send a contract to sign and ask for a 50% deposit upon execution of the contract to secure our calendar. The balance is paid by the day of the event. We can take checks, credit cards, Zelle, or Venmo to make it as simple as possible.

Can you provide background music and high-energy entertainment?
Do you offer DJ and emcee services?
We're based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and perform throughout North Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Grapevine, Southlake, Denton, Rockwall and surrounding communities. Most of our events are within about two hours of DFW, but have a special event a little farther away? Reach out. We're always happy to talk.
We provide a PA (included in the booking fee for 95% of our events) but can also tie into a house system when needed, and larger PA rentals are available when necessary. A microphone for any announcements from your team is always included for no extra fee.
As a musical duo, many of our events utilize us as background music, but we pack a musical punch and can absolutely bring the energy as mainstage entertainment! We’ve graced the main stages of The Glass Cactus, Gilley’s South Side Ballroom, The Gaylord Texan ‘Texas Ballroom’, and many others, and we love to interact with crowds and keep the party going!
We are regularly called upon to move the event along, either as a formal emcee, or to give announcements and updates throughout your event. Anytime we’re not playing (before or after the event or in between sets) we always have a hot country playlist keeping the Texas vibe going, and that’s all included in your booking fee!
If you’re looking for a supplement to your event or to pair a live DJ with our live music, we can offer those services as well for an extra fee. You’ll get our energy and professionalism in DJ form, and our bundled price is nearly always a better deal than hiring an outside DJ!
